We are thrilled to announce that Community Knowledge Fund have supported us, working in partnership with adaptation charity Sniffer, to deliver a new pilot project in the islands (and indeed the country!). We are to test an approach to support community involvement in adaptation action using interactive participatory mapping activities supported by creative practice to capture local knowledge and lived experience of climate impacts and adaptation priorities. Over the coming months we will be working closely with www.sniffer.org.uk to deliver this innovation, and the plan is to roll it out across all the islands as part of a larger project.

Funded by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) and delivered by The Young Foundation, the Community Knowledge Fund supports grassroots community groups and organisations across the UK to find new solutions to local and national challenges by uncovering knowledge and turning great ideas into action.
